This document proves that both parents or guardians approve of the trip and gives legal permission for the child to travel unaccompanied.

A notarized travel consent letter is required or strongly recommended when:
- A minor (under 18) travels without either parent
- The child is flying alone (as an unaccompanied minor)
- The child is traveling with an airline attendant, teacher, or coach

What Should the Letter Include?
To be accepted by border services and airlines, the letter should include:
